Case Study: Graphic Design Contributions to Commerce Energy to Just Energy Rebranding

Project Overview: Commerce Energy underwent a comprehensive rebranding initiative to transition to Just Energy. As part of the design team, my role focused on revamping document layouts, creating Spanish versions of documents, and updating website PSDs to align with the new brand identity and messaging guidelines.

Design Objectives:

  1. Document Layout Overhaul: Revise existing document layouts to reflect the Just Energy branding guidelines, ensuring adequate spacing, color conformity, and font usage for a cohesive visual identity.
  2. Spanish Document Creation: Develop Spanish versions of the documents, maintaining consistency with the English versions while adapting language and content for Spanish-speaking audiences.
  3. Printable PDF Publication: Prepare documents in printable PDF formats, conducting prepress checks to ensure print-readiness and adherence to quality standards.
  4. Website PSD Updates: Modify website PSDs to incorporate the new brand elements, including colour schemes, fonts, and visual assets, for both English and Spanish versions. Additionally, integrate links to the newly created documents within the website design.
